PM Skincare Routine Plus 5 Wellness Tips

Raise your hand if finding the right skincare routine seems nearly impossible. I’m right there with you! It can be overwhelming to choose products, which ones you can mix, how many serums, which serums, what works for your skin, what doesn’t, and the list goes on.

I did my fair share of research and found that this is my IDEAL nighttime skincare routine. I am by no means a skincare professional, just an everyday girl trying to get glowing skin. :) I’ve also included a higher-end and more affordable product for each step.

5 WELLNESS TIPS

Skincare is just as much about what you do for yourself on the inside as it is on the outside—if not more. Here are five wellness tips as a resource for healthy skin.

  1. Set Boundaries

This is something I am continuously working on but have made some improvements! Be sure to set boundaries for a healthy balance. Ultimately, your best work—and your best life—will happen when you are prioritizing yourself first mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. So, this is your reminder to take care of yourself. And set boundaries where boundaries need to be set.

  2. Quality Sleep

This is a given but can be hard to maintain. I struggle with this one because I’m naturally such a night owl. I’ve by no means gotten this one down perfectly; however, a few things have helped me: making sure I take 15 minutes to do a quick clean-up, eating almonds, and reading—all right before bedtime. I would love to remove scrolling my phone right before bed as well but this one will take some time!

  3. Prioritize Destressing

Take some time to look at your life from the outside and analyze the areas where you’re the most overwhelmed or stressed. Take one area of your life at a time and break it down. What are some ways you can destress or declutter that area of your life?

  4. Get Ready For The Day

Okay, so this may seem obvious lol. BUT, it’s something that I tend to struggle with from time to time. It may be because I’m having a down day mentally or I’m just not feeling it. I work from home so it takes that much more effort to get ready for the day as well. Take your shower, get dressed, put on makeup or don’t, just do whatever makes you feel the best.

  5. Dry Brushing

This was a game changer when I implemented it into my wellness essentials. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a dry, stiff-bristled brush that you use to exfoliate, increase circulation, detoxify, help digestion, improve lymphatic functions, and it can improve the appearance of cellulite. I love to use mine right before shaving. My advice is to take your time with it and don’t rush through it. I also recommend looking into the proper technique.
